Pandian Chidambaram, an alumnus of Madurai Thiagarajar College of Engineering and PSG College of Technology. Pandian always dreamt of becoming an Engineer with the intent of finding innovative solutions to real-life problems.
Starting a career in Manufacturing Industry, Pandian gained experience in many facets of Engineering and Industries. He worked in both Manufacturing Industry and IT Industry for organizations such as The KCP Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services, Mastech Corporation, Electronic Data Systems, and Hewlett Packard, and now is in a senior position with DXC Technologies Ltd.
Over the years, Pandian developed a passion for teaching and helping others to learn the fundamentals and latest technologies. He has been a mentor for Business Schools in India supporting various initiatives including a program on Innovation called “Ideathon”. He has been associated with an after-school program in the US focused on new ideas and innovation called “Destination Imagination” where he is playing the role of Challenge Master. Pandian mentored the faculty and the students in identifying the real time problems and challenges faced by corporates during Ideathon.
Even during his College days, Pandian supported the faculty in teaching undergraduate students. His teaching passion re-ignited when Steps Software Solutions Ltd. (SSS) was formed where he now has a platform to support the community and students to grow their skills.
As a director of SSS, Pandian supports teaching students the fundamentals of business addressing the critical gap that exists between academic institutions and the corporate world. He also supports the students to develop leadership skills and prepare for Interviews.
He lives in US with his wife and 2 kids.
